Bulleit could easily be considered a “Benchmark “ for bourbon. A great whiskey to compare other bourbons to. The nose is clean with a little bit of sweet carmal undertones. Not completely overly proofed, just enough to give me a nice little shiver on the first sip. With a slightly sweet sent of sour mash and carmel really rounds out the finish. To me, this a great bottle of bourbon. Smooth, warming and mellow, how can you go wrong

The next morning I was hovering on a slight but noticeable hangover. Still worth every sip
