Makers Mark has always been, for me, is a great “Go To” Whiskey. A whiskey that is fail proof when at the local watering hole, the pickings are slim or unknown. No. 46 is not your regular Makers. It’s certainly smoother and more gentle on the palate. Not sweet like the original but warm and mellow. What a great change from the norm. Smooth all the way down with a clean and mellow head that can only come from a good bourbon. You just can’t go wrong.
Next day, I was fine and dandy. Not for nothing, a good whskey, in moderation, leaves me feeling fine in the aftermath.
